Material Handler II

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations by receiving, processing, and inventorying incoming materials.
• Physically receive materials, accurately enter receipt information into the ERP system, prepare materials for storage, and stock items in designated inventory locations.
• Issue materials to the manufacturing floor and process returned materials as needed, ensuring inventory accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping practices to facilitate orderly, safe, and efficient operations.
• Communicate material delivery issues with purchasing, supervisors, and assemblers.
• Perform material cycle counts and participate in team process improvement activities.
• Support production by identifying material shortages, receiving expedited deliveries, and supporting incoming inspection to ensure quality materials.
• Comply with Temposonics' quality policy and procedures.
• Train new employees on receiving and stocking system methods and software systems.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of relevant experience in manufacturing or warehouse processes, or one year as a material handler within Temposonics.
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple computer programs, such as Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook and Zoom.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to provide effective team-oriented support.
• Ability to comprehend and apply Temposonics' quality policy and procedures.
• Forklift certification preferred with pallet-moving equipment experience.
