Material Handler II

Job Summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is seeking a Full-Time Material Handler II at its Salisbury, NC Distribution Center. This position works Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays. Benefits include 18 days of paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, seven paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately pick orders and perform cycle counts using powered industrial equipment.
• Check and box picked product.
• Document packaging activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry.
• Maintain stock of packaging supplies at packaging stations.
• Pick orders using safe operation of powered industrial equipment, label printers, radio frequency scanners, and keyboard data entry.
• Perform cart put away using powered industrial equipment.
• Assist with inventory counting.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• A High School diploma/GED equivalent.
• One (1) year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Pay and Schedule
