About the Role

Responsible for supporting internal and external customers through accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials. The material handler operates all material support equipment and performs all material support functions (receiving, stocking, delivering, and shipping) in the assigned operations facility.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently locate and pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales orders and stock assigned areas to maintain inventory levels for production.
• Accurately verify parts and quantities and complete Bills of Lading (BOL’s) to receive and/or ship material.
• Operate all material handling equipment (stand-up, sit-down, combi, lancer, tugger) in the assigned operations facility.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 5S standards.
• Follow best practices to ensure safe procedures in the operation of various material support equipment.
• Utilize computer equipment to interact with the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to record inventory transactions as they are completed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Good computer, math, and reading skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes.
• Capable of making accurate decisions under set guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of applicable position experience.
• Experience using warehouse technology or electronics.
