MATERIAL HANDLER II

Summary Of Position

Mission: Responsible for the safe and damage-free handling of all products and parts throughout the Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Material Handler I

  • Disassembles product as required
  • Performs counts on firearms and parts under direct supervision
  • Prepares product for sales under direct supervision
  • Improves work pace and maintains standards
  • Wears necessary PPE and demonstrates firearms safety
  • Reports maintenance and safety issues
  • Acts positively and professionally towards coworkers and the company
  • Maintains ERP system integrity

• Material Handler II

  • Supports other Warehouse areas as directed
  • Completes required paperwork accurately and timely
  • Operates etching equipment safely and accurately
  • Performs counts, prepares product for sales, and grades parts
  • Initial data entry and inspection of work
  • Stays on task and adheres to policies
  • Wears necessary PPE and demonstrates firearms safety
  • Reports maintenance and safety issues
  • Acts positively and professionally towards coworkers and the company
  • Maintains ERP system integrity

• Material Handler III

  • Disassembles product as required
  • Performs counts on firearms and parts under direct supervision
  • Prepares product for sales under direct supervision
  • Improves work pace and maintains standards
  • Stays on task and adheres to policies
  • Wears necessary PPE and demonstrates firearms safety
  • Reports maintenance and safety issues
  • Acts positively and professionally towards coworkers and the company
  • Cuts materials using tools, performs grading, and sets up program
  • Performs unsupervised inventory count and sorts parts
  • Completes required paperwork accurately and timely
  • Maintains ERP system integrity

Qualifications

• A general mechanical skill is highly desirable
• Capable of following all established environmental safety protocols
• Interacts effectively with a variety of people
• Operates small hand tools
• Moves objects as requested and necessary
• Accepts and follows directions
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions and organize accordingly

Physical Demands

• Be able to lift objects up to 65 lbs.
• Frequent and repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling of objects
• Frequently stand and walk throughout the day
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, and crouch
