About the Role

Responsible for moving, locating, picking, and counting inventory across various storage locations while completing all required inventory and material transactions within applicable software systems. Ensures inventory accuracy and adherence to established material handling processes and procedures. Responds promptly to material requests from Production and other departments to support operational efficiency, maintain material flow, and meet business objectives. Maintains a strong focus on safety, quality, and inventory control in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Examine, stock, and kit materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production, service repair, and sales orders.
• Perform daily cycle counts, post inventory counts, and help resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
• Communicate issues appropriately to Planners, Buyers, and other stakeholders.
• Respond to requests and inquiries quickly and professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Location: Vancouver, WA. Works in a manufacturing environment which may be noisy and fast-paced.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of material handling/logistics systems and SAP.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to respond quickly and professionally to changing requirements.
• PC skills; ability to learn new software applications.
• Ability to work on a team and focus on satisfying internal customer needs.
• Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials (often up to 50 lbs.).
• Ability to read work instructions, shipping documents, and inventory labels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling environments.
• Experience receiving, storing, moving, and issuing materials and inventory.
• Experience performing inventory transactions within ERP, MRP, or warehouse management systems.
• Experience with cycle counting, inventory control, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Experience supporting production operations by delivering materials and responding to material requests in a timely manner.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, pick lists, shipping documents, and inventory records.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift.
• Work in warehouse or manufacturing environments with varying temperatures.

Pay

The range of starting pay for this role is $19.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour.
