Material Handler II 2nd Shift

Position Overview

Pay Range: $27.88/hr - $29.17/hr + $1.50 Shift Premium
Hours: 2:00pm – 12:30am; Monday - Thursday (Overtime as production demands).

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Duties

• Safely operate stand-up forklifts, both counterbalanced and reach trucks
• Safely operate pallet inverters and pallet wrappers
• Safely operate scissor lifts
• Distinguish non-acceptable and acceptable quality products
• Use SAP and handheld RF scanners to accurately transfer materials
• Pick and assemble outbound customer orders
• Receive inbound finished goods and supplies
• Identify proper storage and shipment temperatures for different products and supplies
• Move product and other materials into and out of pallet racking
• Build, prepare, and wrap pallets for shipment or storage
• Load and unload semi-trucks and trailers
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Skills

• Ability to take ownership of own and other Members’ safety
• Willingness to work in temperatures as low as -20°F
• Willingness to occasionally work at heights up to 30 feet above the ground
• Able to frequently lift up to 40 lbs
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally

About the Role

Working closely with internal partners, customers and vendors, you’ll provide a seamless and hassle-free logistics process.

Experience

• Experience working in a shipping/warehouse environment required
• Experience operating forklifts required
