Responsibilities
- Manage consignment inventory, location-to-location moves, and inventory adjustments.
- Assist in the cycle counting process as requested.
- Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks or within the facility.
- Maintain ongoing inventory accuracy of the facility.
- Notify Inventory Control, Receiving Lead, or Receiving Supervisor when material control issues are discovered.
- Work with Inventory Control and Leads during investigations of quality issues, inventory issues, shipping complaints, and process improvements.
- Ensure all requested material transfers are completed accurately and in a timely manner as part of the Distribution team.
- Transfer, transport, and stage materials accurately and promptly.
- Maintain warehouse documentation and related records.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the distribution department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of forklift experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience pulling orders in a warehouse environment.
Skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, including bending, twisting, or lifting from awkward positions or tight spaces.
- Able to push and pull cases in excess of 200 lbs to 800 lbs repetitiously.
- Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit, stoop, and/or kneel.
