About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Material Handler II to support warehouse operations and inventory management initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for handling materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting large-scale cycle count and inventory improvement efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Open containers using hand tools
  • Count, weigh, and sample materials
  • Use computer systems to track, log, verify, and record inventory data
  • Load and unload materials from pallets, trays, and containers manually
  • Perform physical inventory counts using manual counts or weighing methods
  • Support large-scale inventory initiatives, including cycle counts and process improvements
  • Review and interpret shipping documents and inventory records
  • Maintain organization and accuracy in inventory processes
  • Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
  • Contribute to team objectives and support operational deadlines

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and understand shipping and inventory documentation
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic to advanced math skills
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Outlook and Office tools
  • Experience using handheld scanners for inventory tracking
  • Ability to operate forklifts (propane or electric-powered)
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or non-standard shifts when required
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
