Material Handler I (CO)

About the role

We are currently hiring a Material Handler for our Materials Department. This full-time position offers a clean work environment, no mandatory weekend work, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Uses hand tools.
• Performs cycle counting of stockroom items.
• Kits, pulls parts, prints paperwork, and delivers to departments.
• Receives and stocks incoming parts, maintains incoming locations in computer, delivers parts to production from shortage list or production stock.
• Restocks shelves using first in, first out (FIFO).
• Organizes shelves; ensures part numbers/manufacturer numbers are visible, pulls consumables for production, and orders for stock.
• May operate a forklift.
• Cleans work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to use a tablet for order selecting.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Experience operating a forklift truck or desire to learn.
• Previous related experience desired, but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs and use ladders at elevated height.

Schedule

Full-time, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with Friday overtime.
