About the role
What a day in the life of a Material Handler at REV looks like:
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Moves parts, WIP, or finished products and delivers mail packages to the various department or warehouse locations
- Operates various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling carts, or forklifts
- Maintains the required documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures
- Drives in various road conditions, small roadways, and highways
- Ensures work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner
- Ensure all material and inventory remains properly identified and stored free from damage or deterioration
Requirements
- Preferred 1-year experience with manufacturing, inventory, or related functions
- Preferred high school diploma or GED
- Proficient in computer use for data entry, part scanning or transacting, the printing of picklists
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to perform all operations within acceptable inventory accuracy, quality, and time standards
- Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance
- Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successful completion of the drug and background screening
- Willingness to learn and operate a forklift
Physical Demands
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing up and down ladders and scaffolding
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to work with arms above head
- Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area
- Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments
