Material Handler I - 2nd Shift

About the role

As a Material Handler I, you will move material—including glass and/or metal—from one position or location to another to expedite product flow throughout the plant. This includes on/off-loading products from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates. You will report to the Production Supervisor and play a vital role on the Production Team, contributing to projects that shape how people live, work, heal, learn, and play. Responsibilities

• On/off-load products from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Read work orders and follow job standards for safety, quality, and production.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines; ability to work overtime when required.
• Prior work experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand and move around on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
• Able to withstand moderate to high noise levels in the work environment.
• Prior work history in a plant facility subject to regional climate conditions (heat, cold, humidity, etc.).

Pay

Starting pay is $24 per hour.
