Material Handler/Fab Tech - Weekday 2nd Shift

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:15 p.m. – 2:45 a.m.

About the role

Move materials (sheet/WIP) as needed to support fabrication: unload trucks, move material to/from various FAB departments. Load and unload sheets and parts off laser. Assist press brake in bending parts (2-man jobs). Assist weld with weldments (tacking, kitting, prepping, etc.). Metal finish units as needed and/or based on demand.

Responsibilities

• Able to use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, etc.
• Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications.
• Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
• Follow company policy and standards.
• Able to operate forklifts and hoists.
• Keep work centers clean and orderly.
• Able to take and follow directives.

Requirements

• 2+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience
• Forklift driving experience

Desired Qualities

• Ability to work and function as a team.
• Self-motivated and can work without much supervision.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal).
• Safety minded and puts safety first while performing job duties and functions.

Pay

$23.00 per hour + $3.00 per hour shift differential
