Material Handler-2nd Shift (4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday)

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required, or commitment to obtain a GED with Carlstar-sponsored GED program within 12 months of hire date.
• Willingness to work any shifts and overtime.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Successfully pass a background check and reference check, drug test, and physical exam.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift certification/license.
• Previous manufacturing and/or distribution experience.
• Experience in lean, kaizen, and high-performance work teams.
• Experience in a manufacturing/distribution operation in the same or similar job position.
• Physical requirements including excellent manual dexterity, ability to stand for duration of shift, ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally, and ability to walk up to 800 feet.
