Material Handler/Fab Tech - Weekday 1st Shift

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

About the role

Move materials (sheet/WIP) as needed to support fabrication: unload trucks, move material to/from various FAB departments, load/unload sheets and parts off laser, assist press brake in bending parts (2-man jobs), assist weld with weldments (tacking, kitting, prepping, etc.), and metal finish units as needed or based on demand.

Responsibilities

• Use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, etc.
• Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications.
• Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
• Follow company policy and standards.
• Operate forklifts and hoists.
• Keep work centers clean and orderly.
• Take and follow directives.

Requirements

• 2+ years fabrication/manufacturing experience.
• Forklift driving experience.

• Ability to work and function as a team.
• Self-motivated and can work without much supervision.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal).
• Safety-minded and puts safety first while performing job duties and functions.
