Material Handler/ Cherry Picker Operator - Phoenix, AZ

The Wasserstrom Company, established in 1902 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, is the nation’s leading food-service distributor. This Material Handler position is located in our Phoenix, AZ Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or unload product shipments from trucks to the shipping/receiving platform.
• Pick, put-away, and count product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities.
• Use RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item, quantity, and location for picking and receiving.
• Operate multiple pieces of motorized equipment in a safe and proper manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• 1–2 years of previous forklift experience preferred but not required.

Schedule

• 1st shift starting times: 4:00 AM, 6:00 AM, or 11:00 AM.
• Monday–Friday work schedule with Saturdays required when needed.
• Full-time and part-time shifts available.
