Material Handler/ Case Picker/ Warehouse Clerks

About the role

We are currently seeking a Permanent Full Time Material Handlers/Case Pickers/Warehouse Clerks to support our facility at Ryder in Indianapolis, IN. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handling day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Punctuality and good attendance record.
• Initiative and reliability.

Qualifications

• Additional screening may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
