About the role
We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team at the Lexington Production Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting finished or unfinished products, parts, equipment, and supplies throughout the manufacturing facility, as well as inputting transactions accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to remove and transport raw material, finished material, or other supplies from designated warehouse areas, storage areas, or various manufacturing departments.
- Remove all material from the forklift or transportation equipment and place it into designated work areas or parts bins.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing items for condition, quantity, and identification as required.
- Operate our Material Tracking Computer System to ship and receive products and parts.
- Use an RF scanning system to receive and transfer parts.
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of forklift experience.
- Fluency in speaking and writing English to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, basic mathematical skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team.
Pay
The base pay for this position is set at $18.38 - $24.87 per hour. The final salary offered is determined by factors including geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. Bonus eligibility may apply where applicable.
