Material Handler

About the role

The Material Handler supports manufacturing operations by accurately receiving, storing, and delivering materials required for production. This role is responsible for maintaining organized inventory, ensuring material accuracy, and keeping production lines supplied in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, store, and deliver materials required for production.
• Maintain organized inventory and ensure material accuracy.
• Keep production lines supplied with necessary materials.
• Adhere to safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or material handling (preferred).
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Basic computer literacy; experience with ERP or inventory software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse setting with exposure to machinery, forklifts, and varying temperatures.
