Key Responsibilities
- Supply raw materials, components, packaging, and work-in-process materials to manufacturing and secondary assembly areas to support uninterrupted production flow.
- Prepare WIP and finished goods for internal movement or shipment in accordance with work instructions, including stretch wrapping, strapping, labeling, and staging.
- Move WIP, finished goods, scrap, and non-conforming materials from production areas to the warehouse, staging locations, scrap areas, or designated storage locations.
- Operate powered industrial trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely while completing required pre-use inspections and safety documentation.
- Load and unload trailers, verify materials against shipping or receiving documentation, and ensure products are handled and staged accurately.
- Support inventory accuracy by verifying counts, identifying discrepancies, performing cycle counts, and communicating inventory issues to the appropriate team members.
Qualifications
- Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing and storage areas using 5S standards.
- Perform all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of quality and safety.
- A high school diploma and 2 years of material handler experience typically required.
