Essential Responsibilities
- Receive and ship all materials to and from the Service Center facility
- Ensure timeliness, proper preservation, and satisfactory packaging or boxing of all materials to be shipped
- Verify satisfactory completion of all customer-required details such as markings, documents, and carriers
- Maintain customer satisfaction for timeliness of delivery
- Ensure all work methods conform with company rules and regulations, attendance policies, variations, and safety procedures
- Maintain required levels of productivity, quality, and throughput
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to use tools such as band saws, jig saws, nail guns, and other hand tools required to perform shipment of large items that may require palletizing or crating
- Ability to build wooden crates for shipping
- Computer literacy and ability to learn company-specific programs (Epicor)
- Operate powered industrial lift (fork truck)
- Operate an overhead crane
