About the role

Material Handler responsible for manual and clerical tasks related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh, or measure items
• Examine shipments for damage or shortages
• Complete documentation
• Determine shipment methods
• Prepare items for shipping including weighing, packaging, and stamping
• Operate handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize stock

Requirements

• Ability to work under supervision, handle basic issues, and refer complex problems
• Working knowledge of shipping procedures
• Capable of operating material handling equipment
