What You'll Do
- Material Handling & Distribution:
- Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming materials and products
- Stage and deliver materials to production, warehouse, or operational areas to support workflow and productivity
- Accurately pick, pull, and prepare materials for production orders, customer orders, and deliveries
- Assist with pre-staging and preparation of scheduled shipments and deliveries
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently while ensuring materials are protected from damage
- Verify order accuracy, quantities, and product specifications prior to shipment or delivery
- Inventory & Warehouse Operations:
- Maintain organized storage locations and material flow throughout the facility
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and physical inventories
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies
- Label, organize, and store materials according to company standards and operational requirements
- Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation and material tracking
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Follow all equipment operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Team Collaboration & Customer Support:
- Work closely with warehouse, production, shipping, delivery, and operations teams to support business needs
- Assist delivery personnel with loading, unloading, and material placement activities as needed
- Support efficient communication and coordination across departments
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workflow and operational efficiency

- Forklift experience and ability to operate material handling equipment safely
- Familiarity with inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes
- Experience working with building materials, millwork, lumber, or construction products preferred
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Exposure to machinery, forklifts, varying temperatures, dust, and operational environments
- May require occasional support for deliveries, loading activities, or extended hours based on business needs
