About the role
Teledyne Microwave Solutions is seeking a Material Handler to support the production of advanced microwave and radio frequency technologies used across various high-performance industries.
Responsibilities
- Pull microchips and other sensitive materials for production kits using microscopes and precision tools.
- Supply materials to manufacturing teams and fulfill production requests.
- Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate material records.
- Receive, stock, package, and store raw materials and subassemblies.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory activities.
- Replenish inventory and help resolve material shortages.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Process raw material orders and maintain inventory availability.
- Support internal customers with timely and accurate material requests.
- Follow inventory control and material handling procedures to prevent product damage.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately with fragile electronic components.
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system experience.
- Manufacturing experience (5+ years).
- Stockroom, warehouse, inventory control, or material handling experience (1+ year).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work occasional overtime and Saturdays.
