Material Handler

Duties/Responsibilities

• Receives, identifies, boxes, and stores service parts in an orderly manner.
• Retrieves parts as directed by production line.
• Ensures all parts are serialized.
• Places parts in correct location.
• Assists supervisor in setting up new storage locations and helps to maintain cleanliness and order in these locations.
• Reviews parts before shipment to include right number of parts in the shipment, addresses are correct, all comments on order are fulfilled, and correct type of shipment is assigned to the package (UPS, 2nd day, ground, etc.).
• Operates equipment such as Forklift, Overhead Crane, etc.
• Pulls and puts parts up at Inventory.
• Keeps the blasting booth full.

Qualifications

• Required Skills/Abilities: Basic computer skills, general knowledge of Taylor Parts System preferred, must be able to operate Forklift.
• Education And Experience: High School Graduate or GED equivalent, three years of job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability.
