Material Handler

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with other employees as part of a team and be prompt and on time daily for work.
• Willingness to take direction from area supervision to complete orders in a timely manner.
• Read work orders and understand technical documents required by the job.
• Become efficient with forklift equipment and learn all aspects of the job as required.
• Use additional machinery to complete advanced material handling tasks.
• Use advanced Epicor/Computer programs.
• Gather and report data.
• Demonstrate a productive and non-disruptive work ethic.
• Schedule and oversee specific departmental operations.
• Pull parts as needed for the production areas.
• Unload, load, check, and receive incoming inventory with various types of machinery.
• Set up production for other personnel.
• Have the ability and desire to become efficient with forklift equipment.
• Read blueprints/work orders.
• Have basic manufacturing background and mechanical aptitude.
• Have advanced computer skills.
• Have exceptional attendance.
• Be able to climb ladders.
• Be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. at times as required by job.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be authorized to work in the US.

Physical Requirements

• Operate forklift during majority of shift, not including break times.
• Sit up to 2 hours at a time.
• Move products in the outdoor elements.
• Lift 50 lbs. and/or push up to 50 lbs.
• Reach/grab parts up to 10 lbs.
• Climb ladders.
• Use 5 senses to maintain safety for the team and self.
