About the role
Maintains a stockroom(s), receiving dock(s) or tool crib(s) with full responsibility for input, maintenance and accuracy of system(s) based inventory records and/or receiving records, as well as the receipt, control, kit pick and issue functions.
Responsibilities
- Performs any required follow-up and expediting assignments to ensure the availability for manufacturing personnel of assigned material, tools, parts, and assemblies in accordance with established production schedules.
- Keeps the assigned area in a neat and orderly manner to maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Attends meetings in connection with the review of processes and process improvements, pointing out actual or potential failures to meet schedules or execution and suggesting appropriate corrective measures.
- Suggests to supervisor changes in material handling, expediting and follow-up procedures.
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry [up to but not limited] 30 pounds unassisted on a consistent basis.
- Able to walk up and down ladders and stairs on a repeated and consistent basis.
- Must obtain and maintain Training and Certification for Forklift and all other Transportation devices applicable to Production Control Department.
- Maintains EHS and Quality Trainings.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED equivalent.
- Total knowledge of any ERP systems that corresponds to all inventory transactions preferred.
- Comprehend system logic and conduct problem solving.
- Good communication skills and thorough product knowledge for each program.
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing and production methods and procedures and the ability to interpret fairly complicated blueprints and specifications.
- Forklift Operations Experience strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Physical requirements as provided by third-party assessments [job/function analysis].

Benefits
Salary for this role: $20.00 per hour. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
