Material Handler

About the role

Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing, tracking, and distributing materials, products within a warehouse, manufacturing facility to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems.
• Organize and stock materials in warehouses or production areas.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Support production teams by delivering materials as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (often up to 50 lbs or more).
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Shift

Shift: 7:00 am- 3:30 pm, typical. Willingness to work overtime (after hours and weekends) as needed.

Pay

Our good-faith estimate of the hourly rate range for this role is $19.33 to $23.66. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
