Material Handler

About the role

A material handler is responsible for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping a variety of products, both palletized and non-palletized, fulfilling customer orders accurately and safely.

Responsibilities

• Inbound receiving and order picking, potentially using powered equipment
• Counting packages and pallets
• Operating RF handheld computers and processing outbound paperwork for domestic and international shipments
• Processing customer returns and loading trucks/ocean containers
• Using safety equipment and performing cycle counts and inventory functions as needed

Requirements

• 3–5 years of warehouse experience
• Knowledge of forklift operation and previous driving experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
• Repetitive hand and arm motions
• Attention to detail and team-oriented mindset
• Supporting HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) programs
• Strong understanding of SAP and Microsoft Office tools
