Material Handler

About the Role

A Material Handler at Reading Truck will prepare and process parts through the organization. Material Handlers ensure production areas are fully stocked and have products prepared and available to organize the yard and fill orders quickly.

Responsibilities

• Work within shipping and receiving
• Stock and/or deliver parts, supplies, and products
• Load and unload trailers, storing parts in proper locations
• Pull stock from inventory
• Maintain parts and materials needed to support the line and stock supplies
• Drive and/or stage trucks
• Tape and sand material for paint prep
• Transport vehicles to different locations
• Assist with completed vehicle deliveries to customers locally (if applicable)

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Material Handler or Forklift driver
• Manufacturing industry or background experience preferred

Experience levels: Level I = 0 to 3 years | Level II = 3-8 years
