Material Handler

About the role

We are seeking a Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. This role is essential for ensuring smooth inventory flow, accurate order fulfillment, and timely shipping of electronic display components and finished products.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments
• Verify shipments against packing slips or purchase orders
• Sort, organize, and store materials in designated locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications
• May use D365, Salesforce and other internal systems to track status details of inbound and/or outbound shipments
• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments
• Assist with returns, restocking, and cycle counting as needed
• Assist in periodic full physical inventory counts
• May operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
• May cross train between all Hillsboro warehouse sites

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, E-mail
• Knowledge & experience using part numbers, inventory management computer system
• Experience using a hand truck and pallet jack equipment
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) desired
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid OR driver license in order to drive to other Planar buildings as necessary
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English, including reading and understanding work instructions, safety rules, and verbal directions
