Responsibilities
- Operate an electric-powered tugger/forklift to load and unload correct components onto carts and transport to assigned assembly lines or storage racks.
- Move components safely to and from designated storage areas.
- Return empty totes and stack them on the designated return skid outside the component cage.
- Maintain 5S standards (Sort, Shine, Set in Order, Standardize, and Sustain).
- Manage KANBAN cards and locations; report any missing cards to the Supervisor or Team Lead daily.
- Verify part numbers and quantities against JDE labels.
- Understand that the component cage and racks are controlled areas.
- Assist with tote breakdown, skids, and baskets.
- Communicate with rack and cage personnel for needed parts.
- Share pertinent information during shift changes.
- Maintain correct stock levels on assembly lines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the team leader or supervisor.
Requirements
- 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience driving a tugger/forklift preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- High School Diploma.
