About the Role
Performs day-to-day material handling operations using a forklift, including moving raw materials, finished goods, work in process (WIP), and materials throughout the production floor. Accurately completes paperwork associated with incoming product and customer shipments. Participates in cycle counts and inventory as directed.
- 80% Perform day-to-day operations of material handling throughout production floor.
- 10% Complete required paperwork regarding incoming product and customer shipments.
- 5% Participate in cycle counts and inventory as directed.
- 5% Other duties as assigned.
Must complete required training for forklift and overhead bridge crane operations. Ensures safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down rider and electric motor hand carts.
- Operate overhead bridge crane as needed.
- Perform material handling tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain communication with team members regarding material movement and inventory.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is preferred.
