Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for working and operating in a safe manner consistent with company safety policies and procedures. This includes receiving incoming shipments, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, and ensuring that incoming shipments do not have damage. You will also be responsible for documenting and reporting raw material usage, assisting in verification during inventory of raw materials and finished goods, and organizing and keeping orderly warehouse areas for raw materials.
- Receive document, put away and deliver incoming packages and shipments
- Make sure raw materials are tagged, strapped and checked for damage
- Verify correct part/lot number
- Document and report raw material usage (count in / out and forced usage)
- Assist in verification during inventory of raw materials and finished goods
- Organize and keep orderly warehouse areas for raw materials
- Sweep and clean resin warehouse areas and receiving docks
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be or be willing to be trained and certified as a Forklift Operator. You must also be able to read, speak and write English to complete paperwork and interact with drivers. Additionally, you must have a good depth of perception, hand-eye coordination, and driving ability, and be able to work independently.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Dock Worker, Forklift Driver, or Clamp Truck Operator. You must be able to work 10-hour shifts, standing and walking for extended periods, and climb approved ladders and movable steps.
Skills
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving ability and be able to determine cause-and-effect relationships in office or manufacturing environments. You must also be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form and frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 100 lbs.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $19.51 to $24.13 + performance-based bonus + benefits.
Schedule
Hours per week will vary, with Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday off) and Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday (Sunday, Thursday, Friday off). Overtime may be required.
