About the role
Neapco is seeking a results-driven Material Handler to join our team at our Components location in Beatrice, Nebraska. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and plays a critical role in safely and efficiently transporting materials, supplies, and products to production personnel to maintain production schedules without delays. Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials, supplies, and products to production operators or within the plant or yard.
- Receive raw materials and goods.
- Follow written and oral work instructions to determine materials to be moved and their destination.
- Transport loads using various moving devices.
- Weigh materials and record information.
- Monitor incoming materials from expedite sheet.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Receive inventory and goods.
- Document locations of parts and components.
- Inventory materials on the shop floor.
- Maintain proper operating distances between equipment and fixed objects (e.g., racks, machines) while operating fork trucks.
- Maintain proper operating speeds in the plant and warehouse while operating fork trucks.
- Rotate tasks within the work group.
- Work extra hours to support department and production needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required by the position.
Requirements
- Good math skills and the ability to work accurately with numerical records.
- Ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions.
- Effective interaction with company personnel, including supervisors and managers.
- Mechanical aptitude and physical dexterity.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalency preferred (vocational training helpful).

Pay
Compensation dependent upon qualifications. 1st shift position with up to a $2,000 welcome bonus.
