Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips
- Unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
- Stage materials for production according to work orders and production schedules
- Transport raw materials and finished goods between stations
- Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory management systems
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Label, package, and prepare finished goods for shipment, including wrapping pallets as needed
- Maintain organized warehouse and production storage areas
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Experience in sheet metal manufacturing is a plus
- Forklift certified
- Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or inventory systems
- Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory labels
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, temperature variation as applicable)
