Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Properly transact (scan) raw materials and/or components to and from (returns) each production job during changeovers and throughout the production run as needed
- Assist in boxing and moving released finished goods from the production floor to the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory information in our database system, which includes all key functions related to inventory transactions to ensure they are accurate and timely
- Mix raw materials when required
- Dry materials, which includes cleaning dryers, and updating staging board
- Afford warehouse associate duties which may include organization and upkeep of the warehouse and physical distribution
- Occasionally provide shipping and receiving help as requested to load and unload tools/fixtures and other items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, specifically around machines and in staging areas
- Afford assistance in maintaining the recycle/regrind program by keeping containers empty and dock clean and organized
- Afford assistance in achieving zero transactional errors in IQMS and zero paperwork errors on required forms
- Able to communicate effectively with all Medbio personnel, suppliers, and customers
- Conform to the culture, vision, and mission of Medbio
- Afford communication to management any situation that may arise be it job specific or employee related
Experience and/or Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in a fast-paced, similar environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude for continued learning
- Intermediate mathematical and analytical skills
- Intermediate computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work a standard 40-hour work week with occasional overtime including weekends when necessary
- Sitting and/or standing for an extended period of time as well as some walking within the facility
- Must be able to see with or without corrective lenses to distinguish color differences and depth perception for product and safety issues
- Hearing ability should be sufficient to hear and react to audible alarms for distances up to 100 feet
- The ability to lift and carry items up to 70 pounds
