Material Handler

About the role

Responsible for the flow of raw materials and finished goods into and out of the production area. Must also be fully familiar with all the packaging specifications and be able to perform all Operator duties. Must ensure that working conditions and work habits are conducted in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Keep the production area supplied with resin, supplies, color and packaging materials.
• Transfer finished goods to the storage area.
• Ensure production has sufficient product for reconfiguration orders.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Assign rows for production to put away product.
• Check labels to ensure product is correctly identified.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• All other duties as directed by the Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements

• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be a licensed or be able to be a licensed qualified forklift operator.
• Be prepared to work in a cooperative environment.
• Be willing and physically able to fulfill the job requirements.
