Material Handler
Department: Operations | Reports to: Warehouse Manager | Location: Longmont, Colorado | Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly

About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler to support daily warehouse and material movement activities. This entry-level position is responsible for receiving, organizing, moving, picking, packing, and shipping materials to support warehouse and production operations. Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials and shipments.
- Pick, pack, ship, stage, and move materials to designated warehouses or production areas.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Verify materials, quantities, part numbers, and inventory locations for accuracy.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
- Use pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the supervisor.
- Support warehouse and production teams as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or related experience required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to read labels, packing slips, part numbers, and inventory documentation.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, pull, and carry materials.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment around moving equipment and varying temperatures.
Work Environment
This position works primarily in a warehouse environment and requires regular interaction with warehouse, production, shipping, and receiving personnel. Employees are expected to follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay
$20.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
