About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring efficiency in the warehouse performing shipping, receiving and coordination of packages. Must be able to work in-person Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm MST.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Cook up UPS pick-ups
• Achieve accurate and timely processing of shipments which could include all modes of transportation
• Repackage damaged freight
• Complete a monthly inventory log on storage accounts
• Build consolidations and create manifest for shipments
• Load/unload trailers and trucks daily
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs
• Excellent communication skills
• Proper loading and trailer weight distribution
• Proper lifting techniques
• Knowledge of basic shipping requirements
• Ability to use a pallet jack and a hand cart (a plus, but not needed)
• Certified forklift driver (a plus)

Work Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

Education

• Required: High School/GED or equivalent
