Material Handler

About the role

As a Material Handler at Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Columbus, OH — a stable company in business since 1848 with 30 retail stores and upfit centers, continued expansion, and a reputation as North America's most popular manufacturer of work truck bodies and truck beds — you will supply parts to the production area, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time while supporting a culture of adaptability, continuous improvement, and never settling for second best.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials
• Prepare parts for work orders
• Monitor inventory
• Keep the warehouse and outside lot organized and clear of debris
• Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move large material throughout the facility
• Read and interpret blueprints to identify parts, work orders, and shipping/receiving documents
• Work both inside and outside in all weather conditions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to obtain a Forklift Operators Certification
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with additional overtime as needed.
