About the Role

As a Material Handler, you will prepare structural steel and assist with loading and unloading steel from trucks. You will play a vital role in the production process, working on challenging on-site projects that contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift as needed
• Perform rigging work including jacking and staking
• Load and unload steel from trucks
• Load steel to transfer tables to feed production line
• Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop

Requirements

• Must have 2-3 years experience with using overhead cranes
• Experience using and operating a forklift is required
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating effectively with co-workers, clients, and supervisors
• Work in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
• Basic math skills are required
• Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environments
• Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours
• Must be organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
