Responsibilities
- Stock and retrieve boxes and parts of various shapes and sizes from indoor and outdoor storage areas.
- Communicate in a team environment to determine priority orders and transfer product accordingly.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, material movement devices, and forklifts.
- Pack product for shipping in accordance with customer requirements, business processes, and applicable regulations.
- Utilize pad-pack machines, shrink wrap machines, and other tools/equipment as required.
- Use computer applications to confirm shipments, run packing slips, and manage shipping, receiving, and stockroom tasks.
- Produce labels using computer programs.
- Load trucks both manually and with the use of a forklift.
- Adhere to all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
- Support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined in the goal tree.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness and ability to stand, walk, and perform physical job requirements for 8-10 hour shifts.
- Willingness and ability to work with hands extended above head and perform work while standing on a ladder.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.
- Communication proficiency and strong organization and time management skills.
- Willingness and ability to use measuring and wiring tools as required by the job.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, manufacturing, stockroom, and/or warehouse settings.
- Experience using the SAP WM module to pick/pack materials.
Pay
The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in Warrensburg, MO is $19.00 per hour during training. After 90 days of employment, the rate increases to $19.47 per hour. The final pay offered may vary based on experience, industry background, and education.
