Material Handler

About the role

As a Material Handler at Irby Utilities, you will leverage your logistical expertise to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role involves working independently to manage materials within or near the work site.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site.
• Use RF devices to fill orders and issue materials and supplies per requests.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies.
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Champion effective inventory management practices.
• Adhere to and promote safety and security policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate exceptional reliability while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to reach, bend, and lift/push packages that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week.
