Material Handler

Moves and stores materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low‑complexity machinery/equipment (e.g., loops, pallet jacks, and conveyors) including:

• Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according to established guidelines.
• Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Operating low‑complexity motorized and non‑motorized material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Works under moderate supervision.
• Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
• Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience.
• May require vocational or technical education.
