Material Handler

About the role

The material handler/operator role is part of a team responsible for mailing all customer correspondence, including billing, claim checks, company letters, and new policies. The role requires accuracy in assembling every mailing package or envelope with the exact components assigned to it. Assembly can be performed by hand or by operating a mail inserter machine, and both methods require confirmation that the pieces balance to the expected count.

Responsibilities

• Mail all customer correspondence, such as billing statements, claim checks, company letters, and new policies.
• Accurately assemble each mailing package or envelope with the exact assigned components.
• Perform hand assembly or operate a mail inserter machine, confirming that the assembled pieces match the expected count.

Requirements

• Reliable and predictable attendance for the assigned shift.
• Ability to work full‑time and/or part‑time based on the position specifications.
