Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Load and unload trucks both inside and outside using pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks, and a small overhead jib crane to relocate parts for client shipment.
• Parts Picking and Staging: Accurately locate and pull parts of various sizes and materials to fill production and service orders, supporting shop staging and assisting team members with loading/unloading trucks.
• Inventory Management: Perform inventory cycle counts, stock checks, and daily checklist activities to maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control.
• Communication and Safety: Maintain good communication with team members and demonstrate a safety-minded approach, adhering to all safety protocols and training.
• Administrative Duties: Accurately complete all paperwork and data entry functions associated with receiving and material handling procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Forklift and powered industrial truck operation experience
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment (preferred)
• Safety training and a strong safety mindset (preferred)
• Self-driven with excellent organizational skills (preferred)
• Attention to detail in inventory and parts handling (preferred)
• Experience using overhead jib cranes (preferred)

Schedule

1st Shift 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday). Full-time, permanent. Overtime available, evenings & weekends.
