Material Handler

Schedule

1st shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 5:45 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Must be able to train Monday‑Friday for two weeks, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform forklift inspections and ensure the equipment is in good running condition.
• Check paper supply for all press machines and maintain adequate floor stock.
• Empty full blue bins next to cutting machines and the box bailer.
• Maintain safe and clean areas around storage racks and the entire warehouse, ensuring no empty pallets remain.
• Receive and unload material from delivery trucks, verifying that packing slips match delivered materials.
• Report any workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and free of safety hazards.
• Be available for required overtime based on business needs.
• Proactively complete other duties as assigned.
• Assist with maintenance projects.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the manager.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to multitask with changing priorities.
• Capability to recognize safety issues and take corrective actions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving.
