Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Safety: Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines. Knows emergency procedures and acts accordingly.
• Equipment Operation: Operates electric powered lifts to move stock and materials.
• Task Execution: Reads work orders or receives oral instructions, moves materials to designated areas, loads/unloads trucks, and verifies shipments.
• Documentation: Assists with operation standard paperwork and supports company food safety efforts.
• Quality Practices: Supports GMP practices and follows plant quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of forklift experience required.
• Experience working 12 hour shifts.
• Willingness to work and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Moderate computer skills.
• Ability to work safely and train in cross-functional areas.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Pay

Starting Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule

Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off!
