Material Handler

About the role

Yard Material Handlers provide exceptional customer service in our outdoor yard environment, using proper material handling practices and personal protective equipment (PPE) to load, unload, and store building materials. Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and store material safely in the yard.
• Manage inventory and merchandise products.
• Use equipment and materials safely and properly.
• Work outdoors year‑round in varying seasonal weather conditions.
• Provide courteous customer service to assist shoppers.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50–80 lb regularly.
• Operate a propane forklift safely.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Full‑time availability (40+ hours per week) with a consistent schedule.
• Building‑material product knowledge is a plus.

Pay

• Starting hourly rate of $18–$21.
• Annual performance‑based raises.
• Paid weekly on Fridays.
