Material Handler

About the role

Join Our Team at Creative Modular Construction (CMC)! CMC is looking for a dependable Material Handler to help move, organize, and deliver materials throughout our commercial modular building facility. This position plays a key role in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand
• Deliver raw materials, parts, and supplies to designated production areas
• Stage materials for upcoming production orders and pick-ups
• Maintain accurate records of material movement and storage locations
• Absorb and verify packing lists upon receiving shipments
• Keep storage and staging areas neat, safe, and well-organized
• Follow all safety procedures for material handling and equipment operation
• Communicate with team members to coordinate efficient material flow

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling preferred
• Forklift certification or prior experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move materials safely
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when needed
• Willingness to work day or night shift as assigned

Benefits

• Pay: $18.00/hour for Day Shift | $20.00/hour total for Night Shift ($2.00 shift differential)
• 4-day workweeks with consistent 10–12 hour shifts
